About
Samipa Samanta is exploring different areas in cryptology, specifically, zkp and MPC, and implements them to solve interesting problems. She obtained her M.tech in cryptology and security with distinction from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata (2021-23). Prior to that, she has done Master's in Mathematics from Presidency University, Kolkata (2021) where she first got introduced to Cryptology. Before that, she received her Bachelor's in Mathematics from Bethune College, Kolkata (2019).
Interests and expertise
Her main area of interest lies in Cryptography, especially zero knowledge cryptography and different applications of it in the domain. Currently focusing on solving problems using different techniques such as zkp, MPC, threshold cryptography.
Commentary
At Supra, Samipa is working on understanding and implementing Zero knowledge Cryptography, specifically zkSNARKs. Along with the team, she has been exploring solutions to some DKG related research problems.
