SupraPartners #90 – SupraOracles partners with Divine Dragons to launch a decentralized multiplayer game

SupraOracles is pleased to announce a new partnership with Divine Dragons. Divine Dragons is an NFT native creative universe that strives to tell stories and deliver experiences to fans via NFTs. Over the past six months, the Divine Dragons team has worked hard to build out this creative universe, along with truly unique art, fully developed characters, a Season 1 story, and a prototyped turn-based strategy game. 

Now, they are approaching their initial NFT collectibles release followed shortly by NFT comics based on the Season 1 story, and a turn-based strategy game using NFTs from the Divine Dragons creative universe.

The turn-based strategy game, Fight for the Universe, pits four players head to head in a battle to capture Nova Via. Each team is made up of 15 different units, and with 32 different units to choose from, there are 1.33 x 10¹⁹ different options for how to build your team. That being said, a core focus of the game is strategy, and your team will improve depending on which complementary units you select. 

While battling for supremacy, teams capture anomalies that contain the native Divine Dragons token and can spend those tokens to respawn units, recharge abilities, or simply hold until they exit the game. Even if you lose, you can take the tokens from anomalies back onto the blockchain with you. However, these tokens only represent a small portion of the total tokens to be won, and the winner takes the vast majority of tokens.

In the game, players will be able to spend tokens and recruit new units. Within this unit creation mechanic, the type of unit will be picked randomly for the players. This random generation aspect of the unit minting process will require a solid oracle framework for random number generation. SupraOracles will deliver this random number generation to the Divine Dragons ecosystem through SupraOracles RNG, guaranteeing fair NFT distribution.

Core to the Fight for the Universe game is the ranked mode, requiring players to stake a certain amount of tokens to play. Upon winning, the winner(s) will have their winnings distributed to them on-chain. In this ranked mode, it will be critical to maintain a consistent USD pegged price for playing, regardless of any volatility in the token price The real-time price feeds by SupraOracles will assist with this process, providing gamers with rapid finality when starting games.
