SupraPartners #227 – SupraOracles partners with ALTER, a private and secure communication platform

SupraOracles is delighted to announce a partnership with ALTER, a decentralized communication platform that uses cryptography and privacy smart contracts from Secret Network. ALTER aims to offer the first private and safe alternative to data exchange and messaging apps by utilizing blockchain technology, an encryption protocol, and trustable infrastructure. 

The ALTER product offers its users a simple means of conducting private communications as well as offering on-premises or cloud infrastructure for enterprises. Its intuitive user interface is compatible with more established Web2 communication platforms, including email services, chats, and later on: file management, payments, video conferences, calendar, newsletter, and pay-to-view.

ALTER can only be used to communicate with other ALTER users by utilizing their individual IDs, keeping all information encrypted and anonymized on ALTER’s nodes, and without disclosing any information to any party involved, including ALTER. ALTER utilizes asymmetric and double-ratchet encryption with the best practices from other privacy applications, which encrypts data using both public and private keys to ensure that users always have control over their data and are aware of who can view their messages.

The token $ALTER is the product native utility and governance token for ALTER, which supports their product’s expansion and continuous improvement. The $ALTER token is based on the SNIP-20 token standard from Secret Network, a wrapped token that is wrapped into a private and fungible equivalent using a “secret” smart contract from Secret Network.

Through this partnership, SupraOracles will provide oracle use cases to ALTER to make the platform use more effective. Additionally, SupraOracles will also provide the data feeds to ALTER about Stake-To-Access statistics, giving them valuable insights on capturing product traction by staking means.
