Supra has successfully integrated its Oracle price feeds into the BEVM. This integration offers real-time, precise pricing data to ensure that dApps on the BEVM ecosystem operate with the most current and reliable information.
An oracle serves as a bridge between blockchains and external data sources, ensuring deterministic execution by providing contextual inputs. To maintain determinism, oracles must address challenges like archival reliability and data authenticity. DORA (Distributed Oracle Agreement) resolves these issues by aggregating data from multiple sources, certifying its authenticity, and ensuring Byzantine fault tolerance through consensus among nodes.
DORA employs a Tribe-Clan architecture, distributing responsibilities among nodes and clans. Each clan aggregates data for specific commodities, ensuring scalability and fault tolerance. The protocol addresses challenges such as node Byzantine behavior and data source reliability through careful design, ensuring accurate and representative data is stored on the blockchain.
By employing techniques like data source randomization and probabilistic safety measures, DORA minimizes the risk of manipulation by adversaries. The protocol’s multi-aggregator model enhances reliability, preventing delays that could arise from a single Byzantine aggregator. With features like anomaly detection and cross-correlation analysis, DORA offers robust fraud detection capabilities, ensuring the integrity of blockchain data.
BEVM created the fully decentralized Bitcoin Layer-2 solution that is compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). It enables the seamless operation of Ethereum dApps within the Bitcoin network, leveraging Bitcoin as the gas for transactions.
Through a sophisticated Cross-Chain Interaction Layer, BEVM facilitates decentralized communication between Bitcoin and its L2, ensuring data integrity and secure cross-chain transactions. The technical architecture of BEVM incorporates features like Aura consensus for block generation and Grandpa for BFT consensus confirmation.
This ensures a secure and scalable network capable of handling a large number of consensus nodes while maintaining decentralization. Additionally, BEVM’s VM & dApp Layer is designed with compatibility in mind, utilizing the Substrate framework to enable developers to leverage familiar Ethereum-based tools for building on BEVM.
In addition, Supra provides secure, on-demand Oracle price feeds for BEVM smart contracts. It enhances flexibility and reduces the cost associated with on-chain interactions.
Supra is a leader in Oracle services, enhancing the functionality and security of blockchain applications. With an extensive toolkit, guides, and whitepapers, Supra supports developers in leveraging its services effectively.
